All Course dates are inclusive with Practice and Assessed Qualifying Expeditions commencing promptly at 2.00 pm. on the first day. Transport will always meet the 1.30pm train at Merthyr Station. If you are travelling by train to Cardiff Central main line station, you then need to transfer to Arriva Trains Wales Services for Merthyr Tydfil. For candidates arriving by car, the Centre (GR 016112, GPS post code CF48 2HS) is situated four kilometres north of Merthyr Tydfil on the A470 heading north towards Brecon.
(NB. Note the Centre is not at our Registered Office address). If you are leaving by train on the last day of the Course, transport will take you from the Centre to Merthyr Tydfil Railway Station. Although we generally try to get everyone away from the centre for approximately 2.30pm, this depends on the time candidates leave their last campsite, their navigation, speed of walking etc..

If you cancel within six weeks of the start date of your Course you will be liable for the full payment, therefore we always consider it advisable that you take out personal cancellation insurance.
